What to see

When strolling along the maze of narrow cobbled streets of Óbidos, at each step, one comes upon vestiges of different civilizations.

Batalha Monastery. The Santa Maria da Vitória Monastery was elected World Heritage by UNESCO this is the big Portuguese final Gothic monument and its construction began in 1388. It is, definitely, one of the most beautiful Gothic monuments in all Portugal and of all Humanity.
